If you attended or are still associated with University of Illinois, then you most probably hold lots of articles of Illini clothing. Maybe only a t-shirt. A Fighting Illini cap preferably. Many emphatically do have closets filled with orange and blue. Mine is, surely, and it’s the stuff I settle with, out of pride or nostalgia or both, to maintain the cleanest.
Of course, you’ll get alternative clothes across your life, although the Illini gear will unremittingly be nostalgic. I may even call up older buddies of back there, every now and then, to throw a ball about in my full-length backyard. Another affair I gotta get done, henceforth you recognise the University of Illinois alumni still stick together since all the years.
Many of us who stayed nearby, hoodies are as usual as a Saturday uniform in the fall. One of my bigger friends nevertheless wears his sweatpants with Illinois embroidered down the side. My biggest acquaintance betrothed a veritably sweet chick from school and there’s a lesson for all of us — how to have the transformation of the final years of old into the summer days of adulthood. Hopefully some Fighting Illini clothing of some kind. Many surely do have closets filled with orange and blue. Mine is, definitely, and it’s the objects I handle, out of pride or nostalgia or both, to keep the cleanest.
Of course, you’ll purchase alternative clothes across your existence, henceforth the Illini gear will for all time be nostalgic. I might even call up long forgotten buddies from back there, every now and then, to throw a ball about in my untrimmed curtilage. Speaking of which I got some work to do here, but it’s no surprise to find a lot of orange and blue rough housing round my apartment.
As those of us who stayed in the midwest, hoodies are equal a weekend uniform throughout the fall days. Hopefully selected Fighting Illini clothing of some kind. A few are gallant to retain their wardrobe filled with orange and blue. Mine is, positively, and it’s the items I dealresolve with, out of pridefulness or nostalgia or both, to hold the cleanest.
Yes, emphatically you’ll catch other gear across the days, but nothing compares to the orange and blue. I may even call up former buddies of back there, every now and then, to throw a ball about in my uncut grounds. (One more matter to attend to.) It won’t surprise you to recognise that the Fighting Illini stick together — so there’s a lot of orange and blue rolling around in the muck.
