As the night becomes colder and days become shorter we all know the time has come to throw away our gorgeous summer outfits and invest in the winter essentials. If you’re wondering what kind of winter fashion essentials would look great and warm then we’ve got a few good ideas on our list:
1. The Scarf
Every woman needs a scarf or two to go with their outfit. These are perfect for keeping warm by tucking them into your coat – chunky and colourful scarves are a great addition to any winter outfit.
High Boots
High boots or calf boots go well with skinny jeans or any other trousers, keeping them dry in the wet know if you tuck in your jeans. Suede boots and fur boots look great for winter and have the added advantage of keeping your extra warm and dry in the unpredictable winter storms.
3. The Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans are particular good choices when you’re wearing high boots as they can be easily tucked in without bunching up. Avoid thin material, such as legging-type jeans, as the cold weather will go right through them.
A Pea Coat or Trench Jacket
Trench coat or pea coats of any length are great winter necessities. They can keep you warm from shoulder to knee, depending on the length, and come in a variety of bold colours – you don’t have to stick with black this winter!
Big Bags
Well they may not keep you warm but they certainly work as a winter essential. A big winter handbag can fit in all the extras you need to battle unpredictable weather conditions, such as an umbrella, a rolled up thin raincoat or all your beauty products for a touch-up when an unexpected rainfall hits you.
You can always accessorise and add to your outfit, no matter the season. Animal-print belts, fur coats and turtleneck woolly jumpers are also the must-have winter essentials this season; you don’t have to compromise on fashion just to keep warm!
Polo Ralph Lauren Pilot Rock Fleece Jacket (Large, Mill Black)Designed to resemble a classic bomber silhouette, this Pilot jacket is crafted from an ultra-warm, highly textured fleece and reinforced along the sleeves for a touch of extra durability.

People put off buying equipments and preparing for winter snow. The month of July may be the ideal time to buy things for winter when huge discounts and bargains would be available.
You will find snow blowers and shovels on sale. Even if you do not get sleds and snow boots right away, you should be able to get them a few weeks later. They may be available on the shelves even after the kids start going to school.
You might go shopping for shovels, boots and winter tires immediately and stock all the things you need for winter. But what about winter clothes for yourself and your family. You will need new clothes and the best bargains are available only in mid winter when you can actually stock up coats and other stuff for the next season.
With the beginning of winter you will find the prices increasing and no discounts will be available because the shops increase the rates especially in the beginning of the season because the demand for the clothes will start to increase and shops want to cash in on the increasing demand.
It makes sense for people to buy winter stocks at the right time and store it. While many items are available only by the beginning of winter, quite a few other items like clothing do land up on selves earlier.
Longtime residents know the trends at the stores and accordingly plan their shopping to get maximum advantage. They buy clothes in advance when they are cheaper and save a lot by way of discounts. They also visit thrift shops, which receive donations for the season.
Everybody looks for best quality and best pricing. These both do not go together. Smart shoppers know when and where to shop for winter clothing and other items. They also visit thrift shops, which sell clothes that are used at very cheap prices. The clothes they sell may be cheaper but not necessarily bad quality. They sell only good quality pieces that can be worn. This way the shopper is able to get relatively good quality stuff at cheaper price and strike the right balance.
Understanding market trends and planning your purchases ahead of the season can help you save up to 40% of your total shopping expenditure. The secret lies in buying when the demand is low, for with increase in demand the prices also start to rise. When you buy ahead of the season the prices are quite low and discount sales are available.
